A : I don’t get it. Why is it that commodity prices go up as soon as the government announces that fuel and electricity prices will rise?

B : Several days ago I went out for steak, and noticed the price had gone up NT$50 to NT$100 per meal.

A : That’s outrageous.

B : I think it’s just an excuse for companies to use the opportunity to make a buck.

A : 我不懂，為什麼政府一說油電費要調漲，物價立刻就漲！

B : 我前幾天去吃牛排，發現每一客竟然都漲了五十到一百元！

A : 太誇張了吧！

B : 我覺得這只是商家想藉機漲價的藉口！
