Meet Kathleen the mouse and Mark the elephant. Kathleen is very brave and likes adventure, but Mark is very shy and scared of many things. But friends stay together, so Mark follows Kathleen wherever she goes. Sometimes they get into some very sticky situations.

One day Mark was dog sitting his friend's golden retriever, Spot. Mark had locked Spot up in the house, but he was mischievous and kept trying to escape.
"I'm going to go get some drinks at the store. Sit Spot!" Mark said.
Spot looked at Mark, then sat down and began wagging his tail.
Mark was gone for about 10 minutes. When he got home, Kathleen was sitting on the couch and the door was open.
"It smelled funny in here, so I opened the door. But then the dog ran out," she said.
"My friend is going to kill me. We have to go find Spot," Mark said.
They searched all over the neighborhood, but Spot was nowhere to be seen.
"Spot, come out come out wherever you are!" Kathleen shouted.
Kathleen began to get hungry. "Mark, this isn't working. Let's go buy some meat and a dog whistle. That should get Spot to come out."
They got the supplies and stood in the middle of a park near their house. Mark held a big slab of raw meat in his hand, and Kathleen blew the whistle as loudly as she could.
Suddenly hundreds of stray dogs from all over the city began running toward the park. They were coming straight for Mark…
