Earlier this month a German court rejected a food stall worker's demand that an angry customer pay her damages. The customer had thrown a half-eaten kebab at her.
The claim came from an argument in June at the woman's kebab outlet. The court said the customer unsuccessfully demanded his money back. Then he threw away the kebab.
The women wanted at least 250 euros (NT$12,000) from the customer. But the court said that the woman failed to prove her claim that the customer had called her a "stupid cow."
She also said that he threw the kebab at her, and that she only narrowly avoided being hit. However, the customer said that he had thrown it behind the counter, not at her.
The court said it didn't matter.
It ruled that the woman did not deserve any money. The court said being targeted with a kebab does not seriously violate human "honor."
The court said that its ruling is final and no appeal is possible.
