Song troubule 繞樑不去的歌曲

"Aaaargh!" Kathleen shouted.

"What's wrong?" Mark asked.

"I can't get this song out of my head. I've been singing it to myself for the past two hours."

"Well, why don't you think about something else?"

"I'm trying."

Earlier that day Mark and Kathleen had watched Top Gun. When the song You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin' came on, Kathleen couldn't help but sing along. Now she had the lyrics stuck in her head.

Mark suggested they go to a KTV, so Kathleen could hear some other songs. That way she might forget the song that was driving her crazy.

After about two hours of singing, it worked.

"You're a lifesaver , Mark," Kathleen said. "Let's go home and get some rest."

They were almost home when they passed by a newsstand. Mark picked up a magazine and Kathleen glanced at the cover. It had a picture of Tom Cruise.

"No! Now the song is back in my head. It's like a broken record playing over and over," Kathleen said.

"How about we go watch Top Gun again," Mark suggested. "We'll keep watching the scene with the song until you're so sick of it you'll have no choice but to forget the song."

"OK, let's give it a try …"

「啊！」凱薩琳大叫。

「怎麼啦？」馬克問。

「那首歌一直在我腦中迴盪，我已經自哼自唱了兩小時。」

「唔…妳怎麼不想點別的事？」

「我正在試啊。」

當天稍早時，馬克和凱薩琳看了《捍衛戰士》。片中播放起「失去愛的感覺」這首歌時，凱薩琳便不由自主地跟著唱，現在她滿腦子都是它的歌詞。

馬克建議上KTV，這樣凱薩琳就能聽到其他歌曲，說不定就會忘記這首快把她逼瘋的歌了。

歡唱約兩小時後，果真奏效。

「馬克，你是我的救星，」凱薩琳說：「我們回家休息吧。」

就快到家時，他們經過了一個書報攤，馬克拿起一本雜誌，凱薩琳看到封面人物正是該片男主角湯姆．克魯斯。

「不好了！那首歌又回到我的腦中，就像跳針的唱片一樣一直重複播放，」凱薩琳說。

「不如再看一次《捍衛戰士》吧，」馬克建議：「我們就一直觀看搭配歌曲那一幕，等妳覺得厭煩，在別無選擇的情況下，只好忘掉它。」
