Meet Kathleen the mouse and Mark the elephant. Kathleen is very brave and likes adventures, but Mark is very shy and scared of many things. But friends stay together, so Mark follows Kathleen wherever she goes. Sometimes they get into some very sticky situatuins.

The elephant burial ground 大象墓園
Kathleen went into Mark's room one morning as he was putting candles into his backpack.
"Mark, why the long face?" she asked.
"My grandfather passed away. I'm going to his funeral and should be back tomorrow morning," he said.
"I can go with you if you want."
"That would be nice, but non-elephants aren't allowed at the elephant graveyard. I hope you understand."
Kathleen had heard about the elephant graveyard before, but she always thought it was a myth. The more she thought about it, the more curious she got. She decided to stow away in Mark's bag.
Mark put his bag over his shoulder and began walking. He walked for hours without taking a break. Kathleen fell asleep.
Later that day Kathleen awoke to loud chanting. It was already dark outside.
"We will never forget; we will never forget," she heard repeated over and over again. Kathleen decided to take a quick peek outside.
There were thousands of elephants, all with their eyes closed. One elephant was beating a drum. In front of the elephants was a graveyard full of tusks and bones.
Suddenly, an elephant behind Kathleen opened his eyes. He was looking straight at her …

某天早晨，凱薩琳走進馬克房間時，他正在把一些蠟燭放到他的背包裡。
「馬克，為什麼拉長個臉呢？」她問。
「我爺爺過世了，我現在要去他的葬禮，明天早上應該就會回來了，」馬克回答。
「如果你要的話，我可以陪你去。」
「妳真好，但非象族者不能進入大象墓園，希望妳諒解。」
凱薩琳曾聽說過大象墓園，但她一直以為那只是個傳說。她越想越好奇，於是她決定偷偷躲在馬克的背包中。
馬克揹上背包後就出發了，他走了好幾個小時都沒有停下來休息，凱薩琳則在包包裡睡著了。
這天稍晚，卡薩琳被響亮的吟詠聲叫醒，這時候外面已經天黑了。
「我們永不遺忘，我們永不遺忘，」她聽到這句話一再重複。凱薩琳決定很快地偷看外面一眼。
外面有數千隻大象，他們都閉著眼睛，其中一隻正擊著鼓，他們面前有一塊堆滿象牙和骨骸的墓地。
忽然，凱薩琳後面有一隻大象張開了眼睛，他正直視著凱薩琳…
