Berlin's famous polar bear Knut celebrated his first birthday last Wednesday. To celebrate Knut's birthday, the Berlin Zoo gave free entry to kids. They also baked a giant birthday cake using 300 eggs. Pieces of the cake were sold to raise money for the zoo. Knut became famous when he was rejected by his mother and raised by humans. His story was heard all over the world. Now he's no longer a cute little white bear cub - he's a full-grown polar bear who likes to roll around in dirt. At birth he weighed just 810g, but now he weighs more than 110kg. He's a bit fat, so the zoo wouldn't let him eat any of his birthday cake. The Berlin Zoo says they don't have room to keep Knut. They're looking for a new home for him where he will be paired with a female polar bear.
