The Adventures of Kathleen the Great and Mark the Meek 英勇凱薩琳與害羞馬克歷險記

Meet Kathleen the mouse and Mark the elephant.

Kathleen is very brave and likes adventure, but Mark is very shy and scared of many things. But friends stay together, so Mark follows Kathleen wherever she goes.

Sometimes they get into some very sticky situations.

見見老鼠凱薩琳和大象馬克。凱薩琳非常勇敢又喜歡冒險，但馬克的個性十分害羞，對許多事情都感到害怕。不過，朋友都喜歡黏在一塊兒，所以凱薩琳走到哪兒，馬克就會跟到哪兒。有時候，他們也會碰上非常棘手的情況...

Airport trouble 機場問題多

Mark and Kathleen got off the bus at the airport. Kathleen was very excited because they were going to San Francisco. Mark was very scared to fly.

They got their tickets and went to the boarding gate. Suddenly, a security guard yelled, "Stop!"

"What's wrong?" Kathleen asked in a worried voice.

"Elephants can't fly from this terminal."

"Looks like we'll have to go," Mark said happily.

Kathleen wasn't going to give up so easily, though.

"Why can't elephants fly from here?" she asked the security guard.

"The planes at this terminal are too small for elephants. Your gray buddy will have to go to Terminal B and take a Dumbo jet."

"What's a Dumbo jet?" Mark asked, looking even more scared than before.

"A Dumbo jet is a jet made especially big for elephants. But mice can't ride on them. The elephants might be scared to see a mouse and start a stampede."

The security guard walked away. Mark looked at Kathleen with a sad look on his face.

"I can't fly alone," he said.

"I'll hide in one of your bags," Kathleen said. "That way you won't be alone."

Kathleen jumped into Mark's carry-on bag, and Mark began walking to Terminal B ...

馬克和凱薩琳坐巴士到機場下車。凱薩琳興奮不已，因為他們倆要去舊金山了。馬克則很害怕搭飛機。

他們拿了機票，走向登機門。突然，一名保全人員大喊︰「別動！」

凱薩琳擔心地問︰「怎麼了。」

「大象不能從這個航站登機。」

馬克喜上眉梢地說︰「看來我們得離開了。」

不過，凱薩琳可不是這麼輕易就放棄了。

她問保全人員︰「為什麼大象不能從這裡搭機？」

「這個航站的飛機對大象來說太小了。你必須移駕你灰色的身體到B航站搭乘小飛象噴射機。」

馬克的表情愈來愈驚慌失措，他問︰「什麼是小飛象噴射機？」

「小飛象噴射機是專門為大象量身打造的班機，但老鼠不能搭乘。大象們可能會看到老鼠而害怕地驚慌逃跑。」

保全人員走開了。馬克難過地看著凱薩琳。

他說︰「我不能自己一個人搭飛機。」

「我可以躲在你的袋子裡，」凱薩琳說︰「這樣你就不會孤單一人了。」

凱薩琳跳進了馬克的隨身包包，馬克開始朝著B航站前進‥‥‥（翻譯：賴美君）
