Everybody knows that exercise is good for you. When you think of exercise, you probably think of people going to the gym to work out or playing sports like soccer and basketball. You might even think of push-ups, sit-ups and aerobics classes.

But dancing?

Doctors in England will start prescribing fun activities like dancing, jumping on a trampoline or even walking classes.

The doctors won't pay for your cha-cha lessons, though.

That might sound crazy, but doctors like Caroline Flint believe this is an important way to get people working out.

Not everyone wants to spend special time going to a gym. And if you tell people to do something fun, like dancing, they are more likely to do it.

Any exercise is good for you, so doctors hope giving people this kind of advice will help old, unhealthy and overweight people work out more.

So put on your dancing shoes and get moving!
