Meet Kathleen the mouse and Mark the elephant. Kathleen is very brave and likes adventure, but Mark is very shy and scared of many things. But friends stay together, so Mark follows Kathleen wherever she goes. Sometimes they get into some very sticky situations.

Helping a cat in need 幫助小貓咪
Mark and Kathleen had found a kitten on their way home from the camping trip, and they decided to take the kitten home.
Kathleen was holding and petting the hurt little kitten as the two walked toward the veterinarian's office.
Mark was pretty nervous. "Will it bite me?" he asked. "What if it scratches me? Or what if it jumps on me from upstairs?"
"It's just a little kitten," Kathleen said. "I bet you'll end up best friends. Besides, she's hurt now, not you."
Finally, they arrived at the vet's office and went inside.
The vet, Dr. Bones, saw them and took the kitten out of Kathleen's hands.
"Oh, what a cute little kitten! Looks like she has a broken leg," Dr. Bones noted as he looked the kitten over. "We'll have to fix her up."
The vet carefully wrapped the kittens leg and set a splint as Mark and Kathleen watched nervously.
"There, all better now," he said.
"Thank you so much Doctor!" Kathleen and Mark exclaimed.
Kathleen took the kitten back and Mark watched squeamishly.
Suddenly, a dog burst into the office, looked at the cat, and licked his lips. The kitten's eyes became very big.
"Oh no, this isn't good. . ." Mark mumbled as he backed away.

馬克和凱薩琳從露營區返家的路途上發現一隻小貓咪，他們決定把牠帶回家。
凱薩琳抱著受傷的小貓咪，步行去獸醫的路上輕柔地撫摸他。
馬克有點緊張，「他會咬我嗎？」他問，「如果牠抓我怎麼辦？或是如果他從樓上跳到我身上該怎麼辦？」

「他只是一隻小貓咪。」凱薩琳說，「我敢打賭你們會成為好朋友，況且，現在受傷的是他，又不是你。」
最後他們抵達了獸醫院，入內求診。
獸醫波諾博士看著他們，把小貓咪從凱薩琳的手上抱過來。
「喔，多可愛的小貓咪啊！看來他的腿骨折了。」波諾博士在檢查小貓咪時發現，「我們得醫好他。」
獸醫小心地包紮小貓咪的腿，並且以夾板固定住，馬克和凱薩琳在一旁看地膽顫心驚。
「好了，現在好多了。」他說。
「醫生，非常感謝你！」凱薩琳和馬克高興地歡呼。
凱薩琳取回小貓咪，馬克緊張兮兮地看著。
突然有隻狗衝進獸醫院，他盯著貓看，舔了一下嘴唇，小貓咪張大了眼。
「喔不，這不太妙…。」馬克喃喃自語，往後退了幾步。
