Fields of color 彩色田野

From the sky, the Earth is very green. If you looked at the planet from outer space, you would see mostly green, blue and brown because of all the plants, water and soil.

This picture was taken from a plane, and it shows the world in a little more color. That's because these fields aren't planted with vegetables or grass. They are planted with flowers. How many different colors can you count?

You might wonder why there isn't any green in a field full of flowers. After all, flowers have green stems and leaves, right? But because this picture was taken from the air, the stems and leaves of the flowers are hidden under the petals. Because of this, all you can see are the blossoms. (Kayleen Hartman, Staff writer)
