    Another world

The white ball in the middle of this picture may look familiar, but it shouldn't.

Although it looks a little like the moon you see in the sky almost every night, you have probably never seen this moon before.

This moon has a name: Dione. Instead of orbiting the Earth, this moon orbits Saturn. Do you remember where Saturn is?

It is the sixth planet from the sun. There are two planets between Earth and Saturn.

Saturn is famous for the big rings that circle the planet. You can see them in this picture, just below the moon. The rings are mostly made up of ice and rock.
    Do you know?
    MANY MOONS
A moon is a rock that orbits a planet. Earth only has one, but Saturn has 49 moons! Thirty-four of them have names. There may be more, but it is hard to count all of Saturn's moons because some people call the small pieces of rock from its ring moons, and some people don't.
