Members of the Taoyuan County Confederation of Trade Unions and factory workers who have lost their jobs hold up satirical signs and wear masks of President Ma Ying-jeou, Council of Labor Affairs Minister Pan Shih-wei and others outside the Taipei District Court yesterday to protest a 20-day detainment of their honorary chairman Mao Chen-fei after Thursday’s Workers’ Day protests. The protesters said the judicial system lets the elite off easily, but does not even allow workers to protest on the streets.May 04, 2013
