Gateway of Light
Children play in front of an archway at the Shuangxi Riverside Park yesterday as the Taipei City Government opened a series of cultural events by decorating the arch with lights. The festival ends on June 11, which coincides with this year's Dragon Boat Festival. It is also the 25th anniversary of the renovation of the Chu Yuan Temple in Peitou, which is dedicated to the water god Shui Hsien-wang.
