Briefly bewitched
Taipei Mayor Ma Ying-jeou, in an attempt to capitalize on the Harry Potter theme, takes part in a promotional event in the Wanhua District yesterday sponsored by the Ministry of Economic Affairs. The event was designed to boost sales in the aftermath of the SARS epidemic. To the mayor's embarrassment, many of the products on sale turned out to be bras and panties.
