In a story that ran in our April 2 issue, ("US couple becomes first foreign family to adopt HIV baby," page 2) it stated incorrectly that US couple Joshua and Comfrey Bush had adopted an HIV-infected baby when in fact the baby does not have the HIV virus. The material was sourced from the Central News Agency, and the Taipei Times regrets the error.
