The US schoolteacher arrested in Thailand for the murder of six-year-old beauty queen JonBenet Ramsey a decade ago apparently claimed to have a globe-trotting resume of teaching assignments in online resumes purportedly posted to seek work abroad giving English lessons.
The resumes of "John Karr" are posted on at least two Web sites, based in South Korea and Los Angeles, with the same picture of a man who strongly resembles 41-year-old John Mark Karr.
It is known that Karr lost his California teaching credential in 2002, state officials there said.
The Seoul-based GnB English institute said it never employed Karr and that his resume on a Web page for its Canadian branch was open for postings by anyone looking for teaching jobs.
At a Los Angeles-based Web site for recruiting English teachers to work abroad, Karr's resume features the same photo as the Korean site and similar wording. The firm running the site couldn't be immediately reached for comment.
The posting boasts of travels to many cities, including Taipei.
