Taiwan Solidarity Union caucus whip David Huang (黃適卓) called on the public to pressure the legislature into passing the bill.

KMT caucus whip Tsai Chin-lung (蔡錦隆) responded by telling the DPP to "mind its own business" and focus on how to better people's livelihoods instead of engaging in "political vendettas."

People First Party (PFP) caucus whip Sun Ta-chien (孫大千) said his caucus respected the KMT's handling of party assets. He said he believed Ma would make decisions that met public expectations.
