In Washington, State Department spokesman Richard Boucher said: "Pakistanis and others certainly have the right to demonstrate and express their political beliefs."
He said Pakistan was part of a global consensus against Iraq having wepaons of mass destruction. "We look forward to continue our cooperation with Pakistan," he added.
