In a blowout, Ford announces it will slash 23,000 jobs

"Part of my job is to make sure we have enough cash to execute the plan," Chief Financial Officer Martin Inglis said in a luncheon interview with reporters also attended by Bill Ford and Scheele. "We believe we have a lot of flexibility to handle our funding."
