In addition, Lien, Soong and Taipei Mayor Ma Ying-jeou (馬英九) made a last-ditch effort to stump for Wang Chien-shien -- the opposition alliance's joint candidate for Taipei County commissioner.
The three politicians went to Wang's rally held at a park in Panchiao, Taipei County, though they weren't present at the same time.
