Because of the continuous and slow road repairs, there are restrictions on entering the township.
"The county government should seek cooperation with the military, as the latter are far more efficient in restoring the township. And at least for the time being, they should provide four-wheel-drives to freely pick up those who really need to go back and forth," he said.
He also complained that the coffin for his father-in-law, who died in the mudslide, was wrongly delivered by Nantou's Bureau of Social Affairs to another village. The family had to make a coffin themselves with three plywood boards before going to the father's hometown of Hsinhsiun village (新鄉村) on foot due to transportation disruptions.
