Musical museum
The National Palace Museum is branching out with a series of classical concerts to promote its late closing on Saturdays By Ian Bartholomew For the last couple years, the National Palace Museum (NPM, 國立故宮博物院) has felt the need to become more than a museum. It's most recent effort is to turn itself into a performance venue. Starting tonight, the NPM will host an evening of classical music every Saturday for two months. The focus is the music of Vienna, no surprise really, since it's currently exhibiting art from the collection of Austria's Hapsburg emperors.
