Legacy Taipei hosts top Taiwanese pop performers and international acts. Tomorrow, Hong Kong-based pop musician Phil Lam (林奕匡) teams up for a show with Taiwan’s Liao Wen-chiang (廖文強). Paiwan hip-hop artists Boxing play on Sunday, followed by Indie rockers Seafood (海鮮套餐) on Thursday.

Ambient music artist Tycho from San Francisco performs tonight at The Wall (這牆), Taipei’s most prominent venue for indie rock artists, supported by White Eyes One Half (白目二分之一) and hip-hop artist Aristophanes (狸貓). The venue hosts Kawaii Pop Fest tomorrow and Sunday, featuring a troop of anime bands, including Dorothy Little Happy, Tokyo Girl’s Style, Up Up Girl Kakkokari and Passpo. Wednesday’s lineup includes disco/post-punk outfit New Sunglasses (新墨鏡) and electronic/new wave act Jade Eyes (孔雀眼).

It is hip-hop night tonight at indie rock club Revolver with DJs Cary and Senor Smoke. Hosted by LEO37, O.S.T. is a multi-media event that features short films and a slew of Taiwanese musicians including Terry Hsieh (謝明諺), Thomas Hu from Skaraoke and Sung Ya from Space Cake tomorrow. Sunday’s roster include electronic/post-rock combo Iron House (鐵屋), The Tube and Forests (森林合唱團). Goth/industrial outfit Beneath the Leaves and Blossoming Rice (花朵綻飯) each plays a set on Wednesday, and it is post-rock/post-metal act Swirrl and Hateful Rezpect on Thursday.

It is live music from funk/nu-metal act Underway and Luck & Chance tonight at Pipe Live Music, a main venue for indie music and parties. Tomorrow’s show is by progressive rock band Sonar (聲納). Fangzhang (方丈樂團) and Jade Eyes (孔雀眼) play on Sunday.

Blues outfit EggplantEgg (茄子蛋) shares the stage with Beetoast tomorrow at the The Park (公園展演空間), the latest installment of the Roxy enterprise, together with power/progressive metal act Animanick and melodic/metal group Minstrel (吟遊家).

Solo rocker Zulin Wu (吳志寧) appears at Witch House (女巫店), an intimate coffeehouse-style venue in the National Taiwan University area, tonight. Indie-pop combo 23 Half (23號半) plays tomorrow.

Tonight, garage rock favorites 88 Balaz (88顆芭樂籽), indie pop group Queen Suitcase (皇后皮箱) and alt-pop band 13 (拾參) join forces at Legacy Taichung, a spin-off of Legacy Taipei. Currently on tour to promote their new album, synth pop duo Dronetonics arrive tomorrow, accompanied by screamo act Until Seeing Whale’s Eyes (直到看見鯨魚的眼睛) and garage rock band Eyeball Killer (眼球殺手). Taipei-based Japanese guitarist Eiji Kadota celebrates the release of his debut album on Thursday.
