Tomorrow at Legacy Mini, a spin-off of Legacy Taipei, pop rock group MEC Band plays along with Where’s (大智若餘), followed by psychedelic rockers U.TA (屋塔樂團) on Wednesday.

Greater Kaohsiung-based pop-punk group Fire Ex (滅火器) plays tonight at The Wall (這牆), Taipei’s most prominent venue for indie rock artists. Young rockers Mixer (麋先生) take the stage on Sunday, with hipster pop rocker Sadon (山東) with disco funk group Taiwan Soul (台灣爽樂團) as special guests. Wednesday’s lineup features pop punk and modern rock outfit Go Go Rise (美好前程) and ska punk group Destroyers (擊沈女孩), while it is electrocore/metalcore band Wet The Floor (小心地滑), power pop/funk act Our Service is Ready and The Roadside Inn on Thursday.

Three-piece girl band Micro (莫可) plays along with electronic/alternative rock outfit Sleeping Brain (眠腦) and Monkey Pilot (猴子飛行員) at Pipe Live Music, a main venue for indie music and parties, tomorrow. Sunday’s roster includes psychedelic blues/trip-hop combo The Robbie Y. Group (羅比楊) and Februarius (貳月).

Tomorrow, indie rock club Revolver hosts a metal party featuring Japan’s death metal band Anatomia, Taipei’s grind/powerviolence/crust band Stench of Lust, Bazooka and Revilement. Sunday’s lineup is formed by indie rockers Under the Moon, Micro (莫可) and alternative rock outfit Dirty Laundry (骯髒著衣). On Thursday, blues/garage rock/punk band Wake Up Explosion (威愷爆炸) plays along with Pilots in the Sky and on the Sea (旅人) and post-rock/post-metal act DWL (無謂損失樂團).

Pop/folk band Cozy Diary (輕日記) appears tonight at Witch House (女巫店), an intimate coffeehouse-style venue in the National Taiwan University area. Tomorrow, Ellery plays original music of various styles from folk, pop to soul along with S.S. Perry. Thursday’s show is by songstress Anie Fann (范安婷) and Ta Hai (達駭)

Friday Night Etude performs tunes of pop, funk and R&B at Riverside Cafe (河岸留言) tonight, while it is Amis singer-songwriter Suming (舒米恩) tomorrow. On Sunday, jazz-pop-blues fusion group Mr. Why Why (壞壞嗓) shares the stage with acoustic group WStethoscope (白袍與聽診器). Zamar (薩瑪合唱團) plays an eclectic blend of music ranging from jazz, rock to Aboriginal and African beats on Wednesday, with electronic/ambient combo #Yan Weiling X Utopia (閻韋伶X世外桃源) also on the bill. Thursday’s performers are folk group City Partsy (都市零件派對) and Fangzhang (方丈樂團).

Soul Star Band (靈魂星樂隊) plays eclectic music from soul, jazz, R&B to hip-hop tonight at Sappho de Base, a late-night lounge bar that hosts mostly jazz shows, and it is Switzerland-based Marc Perrenoud Trio tomorrow. B.R.I.J. Balkan Rogue International Jam brings songs from the Balkan region on Sunday. Wednesday’s act is avant-garde/jazz/funk quartet The Sappho 4tet, followed by pianist Sean Wong (黃長頌) on Thursday.

Award-winning Taiwanese musician Hsieh Ming-yu (謝銘祐) is among the performers tonight at Tiehua Music Village (鐵花村), an arts village composed of a music venue, design and crafts shops and a weekend arts fair in Taitung City. Folk/rock artist Ai-ching (艾青) shares the stage with Puyuma musician A-hsiu (阿修) tomorrow.
