A Firerama reggae party is not like an ordinary club night. Instead of pretentious people standing around tapping away on their smart phones, reggae music has a way of bringing people together. Some bring towels to wave in the air. Others bring whistles to make noise when selectors play their favorite tracks. Still others engage in the naughty act of daggering, when bodies are grinding back and forth to the beats. The O-Brothaz (Tali and Mighty Lion) have been stalwarts on Taiwan’s expanding reggae scene for the better part of a decade, so they know what dancehall, roots and reggae tunes will have everyone feeling that one love.
