Legacy Taipei, located in a former warehouse at Huashan 1914 Creative Park (華山1914), hosts top Taiwanese pop performers and international acts. Electronic pop band The Girl and The Robots (女孩與機器人) joins hands with female-led indie pop group Miss Stocking (絲襪小姐) tonight. It is the release party of pop rockers Chocolate Tiger’s debut album (猛虎巧克力) tomorrow. Currently on its Asian tour, visual kei band Royz from Japan arrives on Sunday. On Wednesday, five nominees of this year’s Golden Melody Awards including indie rockers My Skin Against Your Skin (激膚樂團), pop rockers io and Lie Gramophone (謊言留聲機) put on a show together. The Next Big Thing series returns on Thursday presenting emo/post-hardcore outfit OBSESS, disco/post-punk act New Sunglasses (新墨鏡) and garage rockers Bowztiger (包子虎樂團).

Tonight’s show at The Wall (這牆), Taipei’s most prominent venue for indie rock artists, features Taiwanese hardcore punkers No Order (無秩序), psychedelic heavy rockers Sleaze (湯湯水水), thrash metal act Bazooka and heavy metal group Burning Island (火燒島). Folk rockers 929 take the stage tomorrow, followed by garage/punk rockers The White Eyes (白目), Murky Crows (昏鴉) and B.B.Bomb (BB彈) on Sunday. Wednesday’s main act is pop rock group DreamWalker (夢行者樂團). It is the release party of psychedelic folk rockers No.7 Cyan’s (七號青) EP on Thursday, with acoustic indie-pop group French Cheese (法式綺思) also playing.
