Legacy Taipei, located in a former warehouse at Huashan 1914 Creative Park (華山1914), hosts top Taiwanese pop performers and international acts. The latest installment of Next Big Thing (見證大團) takes place tonight and tomorrow, featuring acts chosen by music critics and editors from music networking Web site Streetvoice.com. Tonight’s lineup are indie singer-songwriter Zoe Huang (黃玠瑋), ambient/indie-electronica act Heartones (心電樂), Nineteen Tael (十九兩), Easy and alt-rock band Guntzepaula (槍擊潑辣). Tomorrow’s picks include upstart band Elephant Gym (大象體操), ambient electronica artists Empty Space on a Chessboard (棋盤上的空格) and shoegazer rock band Sorry Youth (拍謝少年).
