TEDxMonga, one of the local versions of the TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) conferences held annually in California, is holding its second conference on March 19 at the Nangang Software Park (南港軟體園區) in Taipei.

The daylong event features presentations modeled on TED Talks, the popular lectures given by world-leading figures in fields ranging from art and technology to business and entertainment.

Titled Hearts and Minds, TEDxMonga’s second edition focuses on motivation and leadership.

There will be presentations by 10 speakers, including TK Tien (田道寬), Principal Solution Architect and Strategist at Intel Corp, Bruce Lan (藍子洋), conductor and head of the Traditional Chinese Music Club of Soochow University, hypnotist Dior Wu (吳阮弘) and Canadian physician and author Vincent Lam.

A buffet lunch will be served, and there will be other activities, including problem-solving games and guided tours of the Nangang Software Park.

TEDxMonga is open to the public, but spaces are limited. For tickets and further information, visit tedxmonga.com.
