It's not enough that by burning fossil fuels we are heating up the earth's atmosphere at an alarming rate, but that also, in destroying vast stretches of tropical rainforests such as shown here in the Amazon region, we are also destroying nature's capacity to absorb carbon dioxide and return oxygen to the air.Jul 22, 2003
