Legacy Taipei hosts top Taiwanese pop performers and international acts. Amis singer-songwriter Suming (舒米恩) holds a concert tonight, supported by world music ensemble Kachinba 4 from Okinawa and Amis teen group Pakalungay (都蘭部落青少年). Tomorrow’s performer is folk rock artist Chen Hui-ting (陳惠婷). On Thursday, the latest installment of The Next Big Thing introduces black metal trio Vulner, alternative rock band PUMPKINney Fan Club (南瓜妮歌迷俱樂部) and The Frengers.

Paiwan musician Bao Bu (保卜) performs fingerstyle guitar tonight at The Wall (這牆), Taipei’s most prominent venue for indie rock artists. It is the release party of noisy experimental rock group The Sign of Human’s (記號士) debut album tomorrow. On Sunday, several post-rock bands put together a show, including 2HRs, Swirrl and Kishikan (既視感). Wednesday’s lineup is formed by grunge rockers Slack Tide, instrumental rock combo BHD and When I See the Mushroom Cloud, while emo/pop rock band Contrary Think (逆思) and guitarist Richard Zhuo (卓冠緯) are the main acts on Thursday.

Japan’s Little Masta mix ska, reggae and cumbia tonight at rock club Revolver, with support from Taimaica Soundsystem (台買加環繞音效), Waiting For High and La Cumbia Del Sol. Sunday’s roster includes hard rock/metal group Claymore (克雷魔) and The Future after a Second. It is the release party of post-rock group Sodium’s (鈉團) debut EP on Thursday, joined by The Capelin (柳葉魚) and The Eternal Flatliner (邊緣人).
