Tonight’s roster at The Wall (這牆), Taipei’s most prominent venue for indie rock artists, include disco/post-punk outfit New Sunglasses (新墨鏡), Murky Crows (昏鴉) and No Party for Cao Dong (草東沒有派對). Noise pop band and nerd rockers Deerhoof from San Francisco arrive tomorrow, accompanied by Taiwan’s garage/shoegaze outfit Skip Skip Ben Ben. It is the release party of post-rock trio The Capelin’s (柳葉魚) latest album on Sunday, joined by 2HRs. Greater Kaohsiung-based rockers The Lawns (草地人) and Ship of Fools (愚人船) take the stage on Wednesday, and it is pop rock group Lazycall, pop punk act Wade 911 (維特911) and funk rock band Sixwoods (森林木樂團) on Thursday.

Tonight’s lineup at indie rock club Revolver features pop rockers Dress Shop and hardcore/punk outfit Thesameday (平凡生活). Tomorrow is a night of blues with Blues Direction and Taipei Soul Brothers (台北靈魂兄弟). On Sunday, alternative/hard rock group General Sky shares the stage with Dirty Laundry (骯髒著衣) and Chiayi punks Flower Dregs (花渣). Wednesday’s performers are Singaporean indie space rock and electronica band The Observatory, MoE from Norway and Taiwan’s instrumental rock band BHD and alt-rock act Guntzepaula (槍擊潑辣). Thursday’s lineup include pop rockers Passionate Winkers (激情睫毛), funk rock group Underway and JR.
