Aboriginal folk icon Panai is among the performers at an anti-nuclear concert that will be held tomorrow at Legacy Taipei.

Legacy Taipei, located in a former warehouse at Huashan 1914 Creative Park (華山1914), hosts top Taiwanese pop performers and international acts. Tonight’s party features musicians and DJs from home and abroad mixing everything from jazz, funk to hip-hop and classic. Participants include drummer Fish Huang, guitarist Teriver Cheung, singer Olivia Berendsohn as well as DJs Wright and Vicar. Organized by Green Citizens’ Action Alliance (綠色公民行動聯盟), tomorrow’s No Nukes! Long Play! concert is joined by more than 10 bands and musicians including folk icons Lin Sheng-xiang (林生祥) and Panai (巴奈), veteran rockers Tizzy Bac, Sorry Youth (拍謝少年) and The Chairman (董事長). Earnings will be used to fund the alliance’s anti-nuclear campaign. It is Mando-pop singer Roger Yang (楊培安) on Thursday.

On Wednesday, post-rock group 2HRs puts together an unplugged show at Legacy Mini, a spin-off of Legacy Taipei.

Dance rock band P!SCO takes the floor tomorrow at The Wall (這牆), Taipei’s most prominent venue for indie rock artists. Metal group Diablo from South Korea is joined by Taiwan’s deathcore/death metal acts Emerging From the Cocoon (破繭而出) and Revilement on Sunday. Wednesday’s roster includes indie rockers 30 Years Of Pain (三十萬年老虎鉗) and funk/rock outfit Mofo Party (脫序派對), while Thursday’s spotlight is on Japanese rocker and guitarist Miyavi.

Japan’s no wave group The Jongha teams up with Taiwanese goth-punks Qi Lai Observatory (奇萊山觀測站) tonight at Indie rock club Revolver. The venue hosts an electronic party tomorrow featuring DJs Katrina, Zo and DiscoAttack. On Wednesday, post-punk rockers Macbeth (馬克白), Red Shoe Daniel and psychedelic noise jam band The Junk (帆人) put on a show together, followed by alternative band Tunnel of Light, psychedelic/noise rock outfit Mare Cruiser and psychedelic blues/trip-hop combo The Robbie Y. Group (羅比楊) on Thursday.
