Legacy Taipei, located in a former warehouse at Huashan 1914 Creative Park (華山1914), hosts top Taiwanese pop performers and international acts. Tonight’s spotlight is on English singer-songwriter James Blake. Tomorrow’s show is by Taiwanese American pop singer Lara Veronin (梁心頤), while it is veteran indie-pop musician Ciacia (何欣穗) on Sunday

Ambient electronica artists Empty Space on a Chessboard (棋盤上的空格) celebrate the release of their new album with Japanese electronic musician Kashiwa Daisuke tonight at The Wall (這牆), Taipei’s most prominent venue for indie rock artists. Tomorrow, The Muddy Basin Ramblers (泥灘地浪人) play original songs inspired by the classic sounds of blues songsters, jug bands and swing jazz groups from the early 20th century. Japan’s punk rockers Eastern Youth join forces with Taiwanese garage rock favorites 88 Balaz (88顆芭樂籽) and Touming Magazine (透明雜誌) on Sunday. Wednesday’s lineup includes Baroque indie-pop group The Tic Tac and indie rockers Frusciante (佛香甜).

Electronic post-rock act Formosa Romance, disco/post-punk outfit New Sunglasses (新墨鏡), garage rock outfit Eyeball Killer (眼球殺手) and Aboriginal experimental folk band Outlet Drift (漂流出口) congregate tonight at Indie rock club Revolver. It is a night of blues on Wednesday with Blues Direction, The Ghosts of Mississippi Blues (密西西比) and Delete, followed by trash/metal outfit Hydra, heavy/trash metal group Revolting Society (背骨) and punk band Insane (失心瘋) on Thursday.
