Legacy Taipei, located in a former warehouse at Huashan 1914 Creative Park (華山1914), hosts top Taiwanese pop performers and international acts. Veteran folk singer Tai Chao-mei (邰肇玫) returns tonight. Tomorrow, record label How We Roll presents a party featuring hip-hop artist E So playing with six-piece brass band to fuse jazz with hip-hop.

Japanese punk rockers Geeks join hand with dance rock group P!SCO and pop/emo rockers Clubs of Three (梅花參) tonight at The Wall (這牆), Taipei’s most prominent venue for indie rock artists. Tomorrow’s limelight is on Japan’s post-hardcore band 9mm Parabellum Bullet. Top bands from this year’s Ho-Hai-Yan Gongliao Rock Festival (貢寮國際海洋音樂祭) including Brit pop/grunge group Trash, acoustic group Dark White-collar Workers (暗黑白領階級) and hip-hop act Chiu and Love (丘與樂) play on Sunday. It is hip-hopsters Community Service (勞動服務) and Bike on Wednesday, followed by Hispanic-Taiwanese pop band Duda Deportiva and Baroque indie-pop group The Tic Tac on Thursday.

DJs Marcus Sangiovese, Agustin and Damo Darko take to the decks tonight at indie rock club Revolver. The venue hosts a reggae party tomorrow featuring Firerama and DJ Raby Doo. On Sunday, it is live music from pop-punks Yidiansheng (一點生), emo/punk band Away From Kitsch (遠離媚俗) and alternative rockers Suck the Air (倒抽一口氣). On Wednesday, DJ ollo from Shanghai teams up with electronic duo Orientone (大聲東) and hip-hop artist Aristophanes (貍貓), while Indie rockers How to Program C++, Winking Owl and post-rock act Phantasy of Mirage (現象師) hit the stage on Thursday.

Firerama (火哈馬), a blazing reggae party, returns to Revolver tomorrow with a lineup of reggae, roots, dub and dancehall heat with Taiwan’s original sound system, O-Brothaz, alongside special guest DJ Raby Doo.

Funk/alternative rock group Liou Jiou (六腳) and hardcore/comedy rap artists Appendix Deux-Killers (闌尾雙煞) are scheduled tonight at Roxy Rocker, a basement hangout for indie rockers and fans in Taipei. Chiu and Love shares the stage with funk/disco/nu-jazz combo Funky Brothers (放客兄弟) tomorrow.
