Pop musician Lu Chih-jie (呂至傑) performs tonight at Kafka on the Shore (海邊的卡夫卡), a coffee house-cum-music and arts venue in the National Taiwan University area. Guitarist and lead singer Hung Sheng-hao (洪申豪) from Touming Magazine (透明雜誌) goes solo tomorrow, followed by folk duo The Traveler (迷途者) on Sunday.

Jazz combo Hands Up Band (分享器) perform tonight at Riverside Cafe (河岸留言). A tribute concert is held for late entertainer and cross-dressing actor Da Bing (大炳), whose real name was Yu Bing-hsian (余炳賢), tomorrow. Kaohsiung punkers Combine (抗敗樂團) and The Local Punk (草地人) hit the stage on Sunday. It is electronic outfit Salamader (沙羅曼蛇) and electronic/alternative rock outfit Sleeping Brain (眠腦) on Tuesday, followed by folk singer and guitarist Cheshire Cat (柴郡貓) and Britpop group The Aurora Light (北極光) on Wednesday. Andrew Salim Quartet play modern jazz tonight at Sappho de Base, a late-night lounge bar that hosts mostly jazz shows, followed by Oren Dashti Quartet tomorrow. The venue hosts Argentine Tango night on Sunday.
