Legacy Taipei, located in a former warehouse at Huashan 1914 Creative Park (華山1914), hosts top Taiwanese pop performers and international acts. Veteran singer Michelle Pan (潘越雲), who rose to fame during the 1980s folk music (minge, 民歌) movement, returns to stage tomorrow. Galneryus, a Japanese power metal band from Osaka, arrives on Sunday.

The Wall (這牆), Taipei’s most prominent venue for indie rock artists, hosts pop singer Zhang Han-ya (張涵雅), who is nominated for Best Taiwanese Female Singer at this year’s Golden Melody Award, tonight. Taiwan’s sound artists Fujui Wang (王福瑞), Betty Apple, Dino and Wolfenstein play with Japanese noise maker Merzbow tomorrow. On Sunday, Chinese rock ‘n’ roll outfit Zhaoze (沼澤) meets Taiwan’s Mary See the Future (先知瑪莉) and My Skin Against Your Skin (激膚樂團). It is pop punk group Our Service is Ready, alternative rock/pop outfit Come to Us and Mixer (麋先生) on Wednesday. Thursday’s show features Japan’s female-fronted rock band Start of the Day, with Taiwan’s post-rock/emo band Orangegrass (橙草) and Posh Inverse (優雅逆轉) also playing.

Tonight’s lineup at indie rock club Revolver includes electronic duo Dronetonics, Reider Larsen and Sorry Buttons. Tomorrow is a night of soul, funk and electronic spun by DJs Marcus Sangiovese, Rossco and BB. The venue hosts a second-hand market and music party on Sunday. Funk outfit Quack Quad (庸醫樂團) and Wake Up Explosion (威愷爆炸) appear on Wednesday, followed by grind/powerviolence/crust band Stench of Lust and indie rockers How to Program C++ on Thursday.
