Tonight’s show at Riverside Live House (河岸留言西門紅樓展演館) featuring acoustic group Anniedora (安妮朵拉), pop punk and modern rock outfit Go Go Rise (美好前程) and indie pop/acoustic duo Ding Ding and Shi Shi (丁丁與西西). Puyuma singer Leo Chen (陳永龍) shares the stage with BaBa Band (爸爸辦桌) tomorrow.

Chipin & Kaiya’s Jazz Quartet (啟彬與凱雅爵士四重奏) team up with celebrated jazz trombonist and composer Alan Ferber tonight at Riverside Cafe (河岸留言). Pop musician Ocean (歐得洋) appears with Mando-pop singer Wang Ya-ting (王雅婷) tomorrow. Sunday’s lineup is brit pop/alternative rock group Trash and Seafood (海鮮套餐).

Ash & Friends play a night of jazz grooves and tunes of the cool-Jazz genre at Sappho de Base, a late-night lounge bar that hosts mostly jazz shows. The Expats appear tomorrow, playing tunes from traditional, bebop to funky and fusion jazz.

Pop jazz artist Joanna Wang (王若琳) performs tonight at The Wall (這牆), Taipei’s most prominent venue for indie rock artists. It is post-punk rockers Macbeth (馬克白) tomorrow.

On Fridays, electric blues band Bopomofo (ㄅㄆㄇㄈ) play at Capone’s. On Saturday, drummer Abe Nbugu Kenyatta leads a band playing music from his hometown of New Orleans. Yvonne sings classic jazz tunes Sunday nights. Mondays feature Leavy crooning light standard jazz songs, followed by jazz duo Mary Jane and Nathan on Tuesdays. On Wednesdays, it’s Latin music from guitarist Roberto Zayas. Jazz singer Angel appears on Thursdays.

Acclaimed Aboriginal singer Samingad (紀曉君) performs every Thursday at EZ5 Live House, which hosts Mando-pop singers backed by a live band every night. Other highlights include Mando-pop songstress Julia Peng (彭佳慧) on Tuesdays and male crooner Shin Lung (辛龍), who performs every Saturday.
