Folk singer Hsia Ning-shan (夏寧衫) and twin indie pop singers Yi-cheng, Yi-ching (依錚依靜) play tonight at Witch House (女巫店), an intimate coffeehouse-style venue in the National Taiwan University area. Fingerstyle guitarist Sujer (舒吉吉) shares the bill with The Ghost of Mississippi Blues tomorrow. It is Folk duo Light Engine (光引擎) and solo act Gladys on Thursday.

Popular rock act Mary See the Future (先知瑪莉) is scheduled tonight at Riverside Live House (河岸留言西門紅樓展演館). Mando-pop singer Xiaoyu (小宇) takes the stage tomorrow. On Thursday, the venue hosts a musical party containing a mini concert by jazz quartet Tiny Step, an open jam session and a lecture given by guitarist Eiji Kadota.

Jazz combos Um Beijo do Brasil (巴西之吻樂團) and Waiting Room (候機室) perform tonight at Riverside Cafe (河岸留言). One Million Star alumnus Queen (魏如昀) and electronic rock group Chemical Monkeys (化學猴子) take the stage tomorrow. Mando-pop singer Filipe King (杜俊瑋) shares the stage with Aboriginal group TV Night Class (電視夜間部) on Sunday. On Tuesday, it is pop rock acts Gsus (激射樂團) and 36 Roundhouse Kicks (36迴旋踢樂團), followed by indie rockers Philosophy Cats (芙拉絲費貓) on Wednesday.

Sappho de Base, a late-night lounge bar that hosts mostly jazz shows, presents American pianist Lafayette Harris Jr, a past member of the Duke Ellington Legacy Orchestra and backing musician for Max Roach, tonight. Ash & Friends play tomorrow, followed by jazz combo Worms Sextet, not Wrinkle (六蟲奏,不皺) on Tuesday. It is a night of hip-hop and jazz on Wednesday, featuring rap artist Leo 37, drummer Ed Schaefer, guitar and sax player Matt Fagen and pianist Jason Haiyashi. Trio J T is on Thursday’s bill.

A cappella band Vox (玩聲樂團) sings tonight at A House, a venue dedicated to a cappella and with a focus on classical, jazz and world music. Actors Have Music (戲子有琴), formed by four actors and musicians, take the stage tomorrow.
