Next week’s Food Taipei, which will be open to the public on June 30 at the Taipei World Trade Center (台北世界貿易中心) and Nangang Exhibition Hall (南港展覽館), offers industry buyers and curious gourmands a comprehensive look at food products from around the world. According to its press release, the annual event, which is now in its 22nd year, aims to “spotlight the latest and best in all things culinary” with themed areas and bountiful samples.
Next week’s Food Taipei is the biggest ever, with over 2,800 booths focusing on different aspects of the food industry. Nangang Exhibition Hall will feature “National Pavilions,” with vendors from 30 countries, as well as a cross-strait food show, and areas dedicated to prepared foods, beverages and Taiwanese frozen meat and seafood. The Taipei World Trade Center exhibit has sections focusing on snacks and beverages, baked goods, ice cream and other frozen desserts, and halal food.
Search “Food Taipei” in the Mac Apple Store or Google Play to find the Food Taipei app, which includes information about all exhibitors as well as a floor plan and visitor info. Food Taipei opens next Wednesday for food industry professionals. Members of the public will be admitted from 9am to 5pm on June 30 for NT$300 per person.
