Lastly, the Taipei Symphony Orchestra's on-going Mozart extravaganza continues tonight and next Friday with two concerts at the Zhongshan Hall. Guest conductor is Germany's Heiko Mathias Forster. Tonight has Mozart's Symphonies No. 25 and 38 (‘Prague’), plus his Flute and Harp Concerto, while next Friday offers the Sinfonia Concertante (a double concerto for violin and viola), plus Symphonies No. 26 and 39 — this last featured in a poem by Thomas Hardy, Lines to a Movement in Mozart's E-Flat Symphony, probably the third movement, with the refrain “Love lures life on”.
