The four-day Flying Fish Festival at Houpi Lake (後壁湖) begins on Thursday. In its first year the lineup features pop, electronica, house and hip hop with the likes of MC Hot Dog and Vista. Spring Cries Out (白砂造型飆舞之夜) ?at Paisha Bay Beach (白沙灣海水浴場) features a bevy of DJs from southern Taiwan. Expect dirty beats. Tickets for the three-day party, which begins next Friday are NT$2,000 for the whole shebang, NT$1,500 if bought in advance, or NT$1,000 for a one-day pass, NT$800 if bought in advance.
