Oscar-winning US actor Nicolas Cage is also branching out, into television, signing on as the executive producer of a proposed new series about the paranormal, the industry press said Thursday.
Cage, 41, the star of such hits as Leaving Las Vegas and Gone in 60 Seconds, will play the big cheese behind the scenes on the two-hour pilot episode of The Dresden Files for the Sci Fi Channel, Daily Variety said.
