But the media filtered world of this exhibition is also different from the one I witnessed in college 11 years ago. The fiber optic classroom was full of human interaction. Participants were not trapped behind layers of technology, as are the gloomy Germans and Taiwanese artists of this exhibition, but were extended and enhanced by it. This is the other side of the coin, the side that this exhibition has chosen not to show.
