"There are old faces and new faces of WMW that we have continued watching," Yu said. For example, after Divorce Iranian Style, Kim Longinotto and Ziba Mir-Hosseini produced another documentary, Runaway, about young Iranian women's common problem: running from their brothers, fathers and husbands. Young Taiwanese filmmaker Lee Ya-ting takes us into the interesting world of a red envelope cabaret singer in For a Pot of Rice. Shedding her diva glamor at night, she collects leftover rice from restaurants around the streets, in order to make meals for the dozens of stray dogs that have overrun her house.
