Wesley Snipes is kicking vampire butt again. This time around the leader of the vampire cult, Damaskinos, asks his sworn enemy, Blade, to join forces to defeat an even more sadistic breed of vampire intent on first killing off all of earth's vampires, then all its humans. While it helps to have seen the first Blade to have a better understanding of who Blade is and what makes him tick, this frankly isn't the type of film where exposition and plotline are that important. The creators of the series understood the genre and have kept the cerebral stuff in check. What you see is one of the sleeker, moodier and more watchable vampire movies you could hope for.
