To avoid the traffic crunch visitors are strongly urged to use public transportation to reach the park. From the Taipei Main Station, take the 260 bus, or from Peitou catch the 230 bus to the Yangmingshan Visitors' Center. Another option is the Red Route 5 leaving from Chientan MRT station to the visitors' center. Sanchung Transportation Company will also be running regular buses to the visitors' center from the Yuanshan MRT station.
