`Distant Reality' a quiet distraction

As Ku explains in an introduction statement to the show, that relatedness comes as a common reaction to Internet age phenomena like "real time" and "extended space," things that create a nostalgia for direct experience because they force people to experience things at a distance. But at the same time, he's less than overwhelmed with technology and new trends in thought, and the statement implies a certain consistency. He admits that even thought virtual reality or perceptions mediated by digital streams provide indirect experiences, art has always done so. That's why the show is called Distant Reality.
