Rated R, directed by James B. Rogers, with Jason Bigg (Jim Levinstein), Shannon Elizabeth (Nadia), Alyson Hannigan (Michele Flaherty), Chris Klein (Oz Ostreicher), Thomas Ian Nicholas (Kevin Myers), Mena Suvari (Heather) and Eugene Levy (Jim's Dad), running time: 104 minutes.
American Pie 2 reunites its original cast following their first year in university. Jim is still looking for sexual independence with a helping hand from his prom date, Michele, but gets an unexpected call from Czech foreign exchange student Nadia. Kev and Vicky find themselves in an awkward situation after a year's separation. And Oz finds himself all alone when Heather flies away to study in France. American Pie 2 offers more of the same teenage-lust high-jinks dished out in the original. Unfortunately, the humor relies too heavily on references to the first movie, making this one stale Pie.
