One of Taiwan’s leading drama groups, Green Ray Theatre, makes a welcome return to the National Concert Hall this weekend.
For the troupe’s latest performance, Green Ray has teamed up with renowned movie and TV advertisement director, Wu Nien-jen (吳念真) for a show entitled The Human Condition.
The play follows a group of friends as they reminisce about their childhoods and compare their lifestyles today with those of their younger days. The play has been dubbed a drama, but there are plenty of amusing moments, in particular when the characters begin to joke about betel nut girls and other typically Taiwanese things.
