Taoyuan TRA needs elevator
The Taiwan Railway Administration (TRA) deserves our gratitude for the elevators it provides for people who are disabled, pregnant or just carrying heavy suitcases.
They are nearly everywhere, including such minuscule markets such as Pixun, Fugang and Hokou — they all have them. In fact, an unnamed, yet to be opened mini-station between Hokou and Fugang will have one ready to go from Day One.
However, how about the Taoyuan City TRA station, which services between 35,000 and 45,000 passengers per day?
Nada. Absolutely no effective elevator service for the disabled, pregnant, elderly or overburdened.
No, struggle somehow for yourself — the TRA in Taoyuan City does not care.
